Sign in to your Syrup dashboard
- In your browser, go to https://dashboard.syruphosting.ca/login.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click Sign in.
You’ll see your server listed on the My Servers page.
Start your server
- On the My Servers page, select your server.
- On the Console page, click Start.
- If prompted, click Accept to agree to the EULA.
- Watch the console output. When you see Done! For help, type “help”, your server is ready.
On the My Servers page, the server status is changed to Online.
Accept the EULA
Minecraft requires you to agree to Mojang’s End User License Agreement (EULA) before your server will run.
- In the File Manager, open eula.txt.
- Change eula=false to eula=true.
- Save the file and restart your server.
Note: If you skip this step, the server will stop immediately after starting.
Find your server IP and port
- On the My Servers page, click your server name.
- Go to System > Server Details.
- In the Server Info section, find your server IP. Your IP address looks like this: 123.45.67.89:25565.
The numbers before the colon are your IP address. The number after the colon is your port.
Join your server
- Open Minecraft Java Edition.
- Click Multiplayer > Add Server.
- Paste your server IP address and click Done.
- Select your server from the list and click Join Server.
You will now connect and spawn in your world. You’ll see your username appear in the console: [Server] <YourName> joined the game.
